The hug that spoke volumes!

After an insanely long weekend, I was utterly exhausted Sunday afternoon. I took a long nap after church and when I woke up, my daughter came over and hugged me for what seemed like an eternity. It was precious.

That evening on the way to a party at a friend's house, I asked, "Do you know what the best part of my day was today?"

She answered, "No."

"Your hug," I replied. She busted out laughing. So much for my inspiring mother/daughter moment.

Later that night a friend asked me what was up with the back of my shirt. I just replied that it was a resort ministry t-shirt that said, "R U Free?" He looked at me funny and walked off.

A hour later another friend asked me why I had a mirror on my back. At once I went to Jorjanne. "Do you know how I got a mirror on my back?"

She laughed, "Remember that hug???"

I thought she was being endearing and she was being mischievous! Gotta be on guard for future pranks!
